Mingkui Zhou, PhD

Mingkui Zhou (Ming), PhD, is Head of Research at Northlinks Bio. He is a biologics, preclinical, and translational research expert with broad experience spanning drug discovery, biomarkers, preclinical development, and early clinical development across biotech and academic organisations in the UK and US, including Pneumagen, Ossianix, Immunocore, and Avacta Therapeutics. Ming has led programs supporting multiple therapeutic modalities, including therapeutic antibodies and proteins, T-cell receptor therapeutics, vaccines, and other biologic platforms from discovery through preclinical and Phase 1/2 clinical development. His expertise spans infectious diseases, oncology, immunology, and CNS disorders. Ming holds a Dr. rer. nat. (PhD) in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Goethe University Frankfurt, a Master’s degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Tongji University, and a Bachelor’s degree in Bioengineering from East China University of Science and Technology. He completed postdoctoral training at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Harvard Medical School, and Texas Biomedical Research Institute, focusing on the preclinical development of therapeutic antibodies and vaccines for viral infections.
